On Bono

“I wish I could live the life of someone you could describe as pious. I couldn’t preach because I couldn’t practice. It’s plain to see that I’m not a good advertisement for God. Artists are selfish people”.
-'Bono on Bono: Converstations with Michka Assayas.

I can relate to that.

Wow, you know how I love Bono! Good quote. I think sometimes that the more sin that He has rescued us from, the more humility and forgiveness for others that we have--I cannot remember the scripture. I'm so overwhelmed by my blog discussions. Have you popped by lately? I really think that you would enjoy our Salvation discussion. The Lord led me to check on you, is all OK?

I just blogged about Bono this week. I wonder if he realizes that preachers are struggling Christians too...

Interesting quote... makes sense.

Perhaps Bono is more public with the reality that most struggling Christians tried to hide behind a nice Sunday outfit and a snappy smile.
